2025 with caution

Do I want to write about art? Not today. Do I want to write about politics? No, because I think I have fallen into that percentage of Americans who want nothing more to do with politics - except I will continue vote for politicians who represent my views, and against mob bosses. So, yes I am paying attention. Will give the Democrats another dollar? no.

I bought a present for myself. It is the time of year that calendars go on sale. My paper calendar in 2025 will be about when to plant plants outdoors, for one thing. Last year I walked, but lostt doing a lot of outdoor activities because of breaking my wrist right about this time. This year, I will

• keep informed about what I can do to help this country claw back to decency and democracy. We watched our last movie on Amazon Prime. I will kill the account that self-published my sister’s memoir. I am closing my meta accounts - which takes some time and careful thought.

With whatever time is left over:

• Remain active in the Quaker Meeting

• Teach as a volunteer art teacher and/or maker teacher to kids and adults

• re-oil the gunnels of our Hornbeck boats

• NJ garden:

  • fertilize the gardens in NJ yard

  • build a raised bed so D can grow tomatoes

• NY garden:

  • clean out the weeds from nicely started native shrubs

  • build raised beds for tomatoes

• See if I can still ride a bike.
