Sculpture Series in Progress

I was given some old legal sheepskin parchment documents. Leftovers from an auction treasure box purchased by a friend who collects rare documents.

The parchments are stained, folded, worn and musty. Cast off wills. Beautiful calligraphy. Ghosts of someone’s life that was once tremendously important. Women are named, perhaps cast to the wolves by the estate executors?
